UPod Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

• Account information: name, email address, and password (stored in hashed form).
• Purchase information: the product you bought and transaction records. Payments are processed by Gumroad, which acts as the merchant of record and payment processor. Your payment card details are collected and processed by Gumroad; UPod does not collect, receive, or store your full card number or other payment-card data. From Gumroad we receive only limited order information — such as a sale/transaction ID, your email address, and the product purchased — which we use to grant and manage your access (entitlement).
• Usage data: questions attempted, performance, and activity within the Service.
• Technical data: device, browser, IP address, and cookies.

2. How we use information

• To provide and operate the Service and your access.
• To process payments and fulfil purchases (via Gumroad, our merchant of record).
• To provide support and send account and transactional emails (such as verification emails). Purchase receipts are issued by Gumroad.
• To improve the Service.
• With your consent, to send product updates. You can opt out at any time.

3. Payment processing

Payments are processed by Gumroad, Inc., which acts as the merchant of record and payment processor for purchases made through UPod. This means Gumroad — not UPod — sells the product to you as the seller of record, processes your payment, and issues your receipt. Your payment-card data is collected and handled by Gumroad under Gumroad’s own privacy and security terms; UPod does not collect, receive, or store your full card number or other payment-card details. We receive from Gumroad only limited information needed to fulfil your order and grant access, such as a sale/order ID, your email address, the product purchased, and confirmation of payment. Because Gumroad operates globally, your payment and order information may be processed and stored by Gumroad outside your country of residence, including in the United States. 4. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies to keep you logged in and to understand how the Service is used. We use Google Analytics for analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

5. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers who help us operate the Service, and where required by law. These include Gumroad (merchant of record, payment processing, and receipts), Google Analytics (usage analytics), and Mailgun (account and verification emails).

6. Data retention

We retain account and transaction records as needed to operate the Service and to meet legal and tax obligations.

7. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information. To make a request, email support@upod.app. California residents (CCPA) and EU/UK residents (GDPR) have additional rights, including the rights described above.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

9. Children

The Service is intended for adults preparing for professional examinations and is not directed to children under 16.

10. Changes

We may update this policy and will post the new effective date.
